Trufa is Spanish for truffle: the best find there is, and famously hard to dig up.
Great happy hours are the same. They exist all over the city, but only the people who already know about them ever seem to be there. Trufa does the digging: it turns an insider’s knowledge into something anyone can open at 4:45 on a Tuesday.
We live at golden hour, not last call, a spritz on a patio between 5 and 7. We find value, never dives.

We began below 14th Street because that’s where we drink. 201 bars in 13 neighborhoods, 36 pouring right now.
Checked by hand
Every deal passes a check before it publishes: an editor calls or visits, or our reader matches every price against the bar’s own website, word for word, and anything that doesn’t line up waits for an editor. The deal says which. How we check
Kept fresh by you
Every deal shows when it was last confirmed. Tap “Confirm this deal” when you’re there and it stays trustworthy for the next person.
Corrected in the open
Tap “Not quite right?” on any deal and a person looks. When two people report the same thing, the page says so while we check.
Who’s behind it
Landon Creer started Trufa in New York in 2026, with a very small team of New Yorkers who were always trying to find the best happy hours, and got tired of the answer living in group chats and hearsay. So we started digging them up properly. The rest of the city is coming.
